What was the “surround” experience like, any difference to the Steelseries headphones you’ve been unpackaging?

I’m currently considering the Sennheizer PC G4me 360, a Steelseries headset, or defaulting to buying a high quality headphone. The Beyerdynamic 300MMX is enticing but its more expensive then my 5.1 surround system.

Well, the only steelseries i truly liked was the siberia v2. I’d say you are a bit more immersed with the siberia because it just blocks out a TON of ambient noise, but as far as directional positioning goes, you have the power of the astro mixamp behind the a30, which puts it over the siberia v2.
