My review of the highly regarded Audio Technica ATH-AD700 open back headphones. Others raved about them, but I’m not as convinced. Look at this as the other side of the coin by someone who sells audio for a living. I bought these for my personal use, and here are my findings. Sorry for all the “ums” and for taking so long. Newer videos will be faster and smoother.

Short review on the Razer Carcharias and the other headphones I use for gaming. Bad lighting = crappy video Deal with it, sorry. In the video: Razer Carcharias Sennheiser HD555 Audio Technica ATH-AD700 Zalman Zm-Mic1 Astro Gaming A40 mixamp Circumaural = earpads rest around the ears Supra-aural = earpads rest on the ears Note about the A40 mixamp: the more you mix chat audio in, the less detailed the game audio becomes. Otherwise, full game audio is superb!
