There are countless headphones on the market, but how do you know which one will work best for you? In this video, I discuss three different models, the Sony MDR 7506, Audio Technica ATH-M50, and Monster Beats. Each has its own use, but my go to preference are the Audio Technica phones. Check out the video and share your personal experiences with headphones below.
I got sent a Korg Kaossilator for review purposes, I was a little dubious how i would get on with it as despite being quite a technical DJ, i’m not a very tactile musicial… ie, i can’t play the piano for sh|t lol… When I did this i’d only had it out of the box for about an hour, but instantly got stuck into it without any troubles! Not the most amazing musical demo but i think it should give you a good idea of what the device does
A quick review of the SONY MDR-XD200 headphones. Affordable, reliable (at least up to 1 year, in my case), and really good for monitoring/music production or just listening, with a frequency response of 10 Hz – 22000 Hz. The 40 mm, long stroke, dome-type drivers with nyodimium magnets also put out up to 1.5 W of power. Comfortable to wear, with a convenient 11.5 ft. cord, and gold-plated stereo-1/4″ plug included. Most important to take from this, ALWAYS look at the frequency response when buying new headphones, even 5 Hz makes a huge difference in sound quality. You want those that have as wide a range as possible, with enough bottom and top end frequencies included.
